Hey friends! It’s Advent! Over the next four weeks, I will share weekly snippets from my reflections throughout this season. I pray you are inspired.
‘The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it. ‘ – John1:5.
Darkness can never overcome the light. Today, as we begin Advent, we are reminded of Jesus’ presence in our lives. He is the light that shines in the darkness. He is the light in our lives. At times, we get frightened of the dark, forgetting God’s power in our lives. Jesus said in John 8:12: “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life.”
Today, take time to reflect on Jesus’ presence in your life. His light shines through you, empowering you to face some of life’s difficulties. When things get overwhelming, remember that the light of the world lives in you, and through Him, you have the power to do all things. Whether it is your marriage, finances, education, or health, no matter what area of your life, God’s light provides hope and possibilities.
‘Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” ‘~Matthew 19:26
